Baba Rahman agrees 5-yr deal with AS Roma

Ghanaian player Abdul Baba Rahman has reached an agreement with Italian Serie A side Roma over a transfer move from German club Augsburg.

The Italian side beat competition from English Premier League Champions Chelsea who had previously offered the Black Star €1.8 million in annual wages and a €15 million to his current club Augsburg.

Roma director Walter Sabatini has offered the Ghana international a five-year contract worth €2.2 million a year in wages and is set to deal with the final details of the transfer with Bundesliga club Augsburg.

The German club are seeking for a transfer fee in the region of €25 million plus bonuses for the sale of Abdul Baba Rahman.
