The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the ruling New Patriotic Party, Bernard Antwi Boasiako has appealed to the Minority leader Haruna Iddrisu to do away with hypocrisy of employing secret agenda against former president John Mahama.
According to him, Haruna Iddrisu as a lawyer must be fair in his comments.

His response comes at the back of the Minority in Parliament calling on President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to reverse the Attorney General's actions that has led to the dropping of the charges against the eight members of the Delta Force.
Haruna Iddrisu said the accused persons should be re-arrested and re-arraigned before the court.
He said the President must immediately show leadership on the release of the vigilante group.

But Wontumi reacting to Haruna Iddrisu’s condemnation said they [Miniority] must appreciate the circumstance that led to the discharge of the vigilante group.
He said "I am very much disappointed in Haruna Iddrisu, he is a very big hypocrite. Haruna is an honorable member of parliament and his behavior must reflect his status."
"Haruna is a hypocrite and I will expose him, he is talking about the delta force issue because he wants to be more popular than Mahama ahead of the NDC’s flag bearer elections," he added.

Wontumi noted that "Where was Haruna Iddrisu when Mahama and his ministers conspired to release the Montie 3 from prison after they were sentenced.
"I am reliably informed that about twenty people wish to contest the NDC elections and Haruna is using this delta force issue to enhance his chances.
"If Haruna Iddrisu does not shut up, I will expose him badly…I don’t like hypocrites," Wontumi said.
