The incident occurred when the innocent boy was on his way to church on Sunday.

Michael was then riding his bicycle from Osei Yaw Akura to Abokyikrom where he worshipped with the Church of Pentecost, Accra-based Adom FM has reported.

Residents raised suspicions about the whereabouts of the boy after an uncle found the boy's bicycle and sandals by the roadside.

A search party was commissioned to look for Michael, where he was later found dead with a slit throat.
