Former Lands Minister Osah Mills, one other convicted for contempt

An Accra High Court, presided over by Justice Novici Aryene, convicted the duo for flouting an order given by the court to cease plans to develop a large piece of land.

The land in contention belongs to the Ghana Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) and can be found in La Nkwantanan near Adentan in Accra.

The previous government had initiated plans to give the lands out to private estate developers.

However, they were halted in their tracks by a lawsuit initiated jointly by the Chief of La, Nii Kpobi Tettey Tsuru and the Ghana Civil Aviation Authority, who want to use the land for aviation purposes.
