Nayele's Alleged Aides Head To Court Today

More persons accused in aiding Nayele Ametefe in her botched attempt to smuggle 12kg of cocaine wealth USD 5Million will appear in court today.

The accused persons, Alhaji Dawood, a businessman, Nana Akua Amponsah and Sadalia Sandra Nuhu and three other officials of the Kotoka International Airport, are facing prosecution charges in Ghana for the role they played in aiding Nayele Ametefe to transport 12kg cocaine into the UK

In their last court appearance, Justice Francis Obiri refused to grant bail to the accused persons after their lawyers had argued that the facts as presented by the prosecution did not support the charges proffered against their clients.

Alhaji Dawood, is being charged for facilitating Nayele’s access through the VVIP lounge at the Kotoka International Airport whiles the other two ladies have been accused of traveling with Nayele but abandoned their luggage and managed to abscond after she was arrested at the Heathrow Airport.

Nayele will reappear in court on January 5, 2015. She has pleaded guilty to charges proffered against her in a UK court.
