BNI Picks Up Nine More Suspected Accomplices Of Nayele Ametefeh

Earlier, three Foreign Affairs staff were remanded into prison custody by a circuit court.

Ghanaian woman, Nayele Ametefeh, aka Ruby Adu Gyamfi, was busted with cocaine at the Heathrow airport after she tried to smuggle the banned substance, with a street value of more than 5 million dollars two weeks ago

Ms Ametefeh is expected to appear in a UK court on November 27 over the matter.

In further arrests in connection with the cocaine saga involving one Nayele Ametefeh, the Bureau of National Investigations (BNI) is reported to have picked up nine more people.

Out of these nine people arrested  by the BNI, two women suspected to have been travelling with Ruby, who was earlier arrested at Heathrow, abandoned their luggage and absconded from the Heathrow International Airport after Nayele was busted.

The ladies, Nana Akua Amponsah and Sadalia Nuhu, are suspected to be close partner of Ms Ametefeh. The other seven are Paa Kwesi Acquah, Mustapha Kilba; three Lebanese, Faisal Khadar, Abdulla Mustrah, Mouiw Jaafar and Charbel Nasr, and Italian, Marioto Bernard Young.
