Denkyira women plead on behalf of their husbands

The women of Denkyira have pleaded for forgiveness for their husbands and sons who murdered the innocent Captain Maxwell Mahama.

“It is very unfortunate to see a human being subjected to this inhumane act without any reason and that saddens our heart” she added.

This she explained amounts to the shedding of innocent blood which she is certain will incur the wrath of the gods of the land.

She therefore, said purification of their land was needed. She said this will be done to ask that the gods heal their land.

This spiritual exercise, she believes may even cause suspects on the run to surrender themselves to law enforcement agencies.

Nana Abena Gyamfuah said this has brought the name of Denkyira to disrepute.

Nana Abena Gyamfuah has therefore appealed to the First lady Rebecca Akufo-Addo to apologise to President Akufo-Addo on their behalf.
