Kojo Oppong-Nkrumah rides motor without helmet

Kojo Oppong-Nkrumah has started his campaign to be elected as NPP parliamentary candidate in the Ofoase-Ayirebi constituency.

The Eastern regional New Patriotic Party office has cleared former Joy FM morning show host, Kojo Oppong-Nkrumah, to start campaigning ahead of the party’s parliamentary primaries.

Oppong-Nkrumah who is hoping to be elected the parliamentary candidate for the Ofoase-Ayirebi constituency ahead of the 2016 elections was spotted on a motorbike to one of the rural areas in his constituency.

He will face a stiff challenge from two strong contenders.

The aspirants are Wing Commander Bright Acquah Asamoah (retd), formerly of the Ghana Air Force base in Tamale; Mr John Obiri–Yeboah, an Accra-based freight forwarder; and Mr. Kojo Oppong-Nkrumah, a renowned broadcast  journalist.

Each of the three aspirants, Mr. Oppong–Nkrumah, Wing Commander Asamoah and Mr. Obiri–Yeboah expressed optimism to emerge victorious to become the next legislator of the Constituency.
