President John Mahama has asked Ghanaians to unite with one focus ahead of the 2016 general elections, if progress is to be achieved.

Speaking on behalf of the President at Action Chapel International’s IMPACT 2015, Communiations Minister Edward Omane-Boamah said Ghanaians must remain strong even in the midst of trials.

“The storms will come, but we will definitely persevere and triumph. Let us also remember that His Excellency the President is asking us to test before we trust particularly as we move into the year 2016,” Dr. Omane Boamah said.

“Let us also remember that unity is key, so that together we can work as one nation bound by a common destiny to transform the structure of the Ghanaian economy to develop love among ourselves and ensure that we move from a lower income country to an advanced human society where there would be no hunger, poverty and where we shall continue to develop infrastructure,” Dr. Omane Boamah added.
