President Nana Akufo-Addo has appointed United Kingdom-based Ghanaian artiste, Fuse ODG as brand ambassador for cocoa in Ghana.
This was revealed by the President during the 70 years anniversary celebrations of the Ghana Cocoa Board.
The anniversary celebration also coincided with the celebration of the National Cocoa Day, held in Kumasi on October 2, 2017.
According to the President Fuse ODG as the brand ambassador for cocoa is responsible for promoting the consumption of cocoa both in Ghana and across the world.
“One of the world’s biggest Afropop artiste. Our very own Fuse ODG in addition to his other duties as tourism ambassador has taken upon himself to promote the consumption of cocoa products not only in Ghana but across the world. I thank him for this patriotic gesture.”
This is his second ambassadorial appointment.
The Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture Madam Catherin Afeku named Fuse ODG and some 29 other celebrities as tourism ambassadors recently.

The new Tourism Ambassadors were ‘out-doored’ at a ceremony organised by the Ghana Tourism Authority in Tamale, Northern Region.
Among the 30 ambassadors are Agya Koo, Nana Kwame Ampadu, Okyeame Kwame, Van Vicker, Fuse ODG, D-Black, and Pa John Bentsifi Dadson.
Others are Praye, Andy Dosty, SP Kofi Sarpong, Fancy Gadam, Bibi Bright, among others.
