Sporadic shooting at Talensi

A member of the New Patriotic Party, Gabby Otchere-Darko has been shot at by drive-pass gang in a pickup.

There are reports of sporadic shooting in Talensi following a clash between supporters of the ruling NDC and the opposition NPP.

This according to reports have resulted in some injuries and damage of vehicles and properties.

Gabby who took to his Twitter handle said, "I just got shot @ by drive-pass gang in pickup. 12 shots fired at us in front of NPP office, with soldiers nearby. No injuries."

Meanwhile, the First vice national chairman of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) Freddie Blay and national Treasurer EmmanuelAbankwa Yeboah have been allegedly attacked in the Talensi Constiteuncy.

The executives were attacked by an NDC aligned group called Azorka Boys.

Reports indicate that they were attacked in the presence of Interior Minister, Mark Woyongo and Regional Minister at the Pwalugu polling station.

Mr. Freddie Blay and Abankwa are receiving treatment at the regional Hospital.
