Chadian soldiers recapture Borno community from terrorists

Chadian soldiers in Nigeria have recaptured the town of Dikwa in Borno State from Boko Haram, the military said.

Many Boko Haram members were reportedly killed while Chad lost one soldier in the battle.

"We have total control of the town," Colonel Azem Bermandoua told Reuters.

Chad has deployed 2,500 soldiers to aid Nigeria in the fight against Boko Haram.
