President Nana Akufo-Addo has arrived in Abidjan, Ivory Coast, for tense talks on Illlegal mining (galamsey) and maritime border dispute which currently a subject of abiteration.
Ivory Coast is home to some estimated 3 million Ghanaians.
He inspected a guard of honour mounted to welcome him to the Presidential Palace.
The trip to Abidjan brings to an end the first phase of President Akufo-Addo's tour of West Africa.
He spent four days in Togo and Burkina Faso as part of moves to deepen bilateral ties between Ghana's neighbouring states.
Top of the agenda for talks between the two leaders is illegal mining which is compromising the river bodies in the two countries.
