Many domestic airlines have resumed operations following significant improvement in the weather. The Acting Director General of the Ghana Civil Aviation Authority, Alhassan Abdulai in an interview with Radio Ghana said the Authority hopes for further improvement of the weather in the days ahead.

Local flights to parts of the country, especially Tamale and Kumasi were grounded following poor weather conditions due to the harmattan.

The development led to tens of passengers being stranded at the domestic terminal of the Kotoka International Airport and other airports across the country.
