Boison, an employee of Cirrus Oil Company in Takoradi, has since been remanded in police custody by the Takoradi Circuit Court to reappear on May 29, 2015.

The Western Regional Police Commander, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Mr. Isaac Alex Quainoo, told the Daily Graphic that the police were investigating the case, since according to the suspect, he did not know what came over him before he attacked the woman.

He said Boison admitted that he had been undertaking household chores for Madam Tagoe and, therefore, the negative action could have been the result of a high fever.

Madam Tagoe explained that she had not seen the suspect for some days and, therefore, she was itching to find out his whereabouts only for him to appear last Sunday with a cutlass and inflict wounds on her forehead, back, breast and other parts of the body.
