‘Respect Nana’, Prez Mahama Acknowledges His Opponent

President John Mahama paid homage to his compatriot, Nana Akufo-Addo during his State of the Nation Address.

President John Mahama paid homage to his compatriot, Nana Akufo-Addo, flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party in parliament when he delivered the State of the Nation Address.

Nana Akufo-Addo stormed parliament to listen to President John Mahama concerning the true state of the nation.

President Mahama failed to recognize the presence of his opponent during his entry into the Chamber.

He however in his speech used the opportunity to acknowledge Nana Addo who was sitting together with his running mate, DrMahamudu Bawumia.

President Mahama saluted Nana Addo saying "Respect Nana".

Nana Akufo-Addo early todaychallenged President John Mahama to fix the declining economy.

The main opposition leader said the president should inform Ghanaians “what he is going to do about the state of our economy.”

Akufo-Addo stated on an Accra-based Citi FM that “We’ve become a deficit Ghana and we want to hear from him something positive as to what is being done to arrest the decline of our economy, give relieve to our people and then begin to put our country back on the growth of expansion.

“Those are the things that we want to hear about. Like any house you want to look at how solid the foundation is, the ideas that they put into the building of Ghana.”
