One of the suspects, Suleiman admitted shooting the victim but explained that he [the victim] was not his target.

Suleiman said he specifically bought the locally manufactured pistol at a cost GH¢300.00 to attack one Shatta with whom he had a misunderstanding.

He said his hope was to meet Shatta at the street jam in order to take revenge but did not materialise.

DCOP Yeboah said the suspects, after committing the act, fled to Salaga where they were alleged to have engaged in some robbery activities and had been declared wanted.

They are currently in police custody and assisting in the investigation.
