Oteng Adjei Heads GNPC As Board Chairman

Dr Joe Oteng has been named as the new Board Chairman of GNPC.

Information available indicates that Dr Joe Oteng-Adjei, a former Energy Minister, has just been named as the new Board Chairman of the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC).

The position was then being occupied by Mr Ato Ahwoi.

Dr Oteng Adjei was recently caught up in a controversy in which he was accused of taking home a plush Lexus vehicle he used when he was the Energy Minister.

He however denied the allegation saying the Lexus LX 570 was a reward for his hardwork. He later returned the car after numerous criticisms.
