Dr. Akoto Osei loses Kwadaso primaries

The NPP is voting in some 245 constituencies to elect candidates for the 2016 parliamentary elections.

 

Member of Parliament for the Kwadaso constituency, Dr. Afriyie Akoto Osei has lost in his bid to be elected parliamentary candidate of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Kwadaso Constituency.

He pulled 95 votes as against the winner Dr. Kojo Nuamah’s 198. Other contenders, Dr. Charles Dwamena, Dr. Kingsley Nyarko, Hilda Addo and Dr. Vincent Manu had 98, 78, 139 and 14 votes respectively.
