Third suspect in NPP acid attack saga brought before court

According to the police Musah who is a driver and a member of the NPP, on the 19th of May 2015 solicited and procured acid which he gave to the two suspects believed to have poured the acid on Adams Mahama the next day.

 

A suspect Musah Issah alleged to have bought the acid used for the attack on the late New Patriotic Party (NPP) Upper West chairman, Adam's Mahama has been charged with abetment of crime and murder.

According to the police Musah who is a driver and a member of the NPP, on the 19th of May 2015 solicited and procured acid which he gave to the two suspects believed to have poured the acid on Adams Mahama the next day.

Already two people, Gregory Afoko who is the younger brother of National Chairman of the NPP Paul Afoko and Asabke Alangbiho who is at a large have already been put before court for the murder of the Upper West chairman of the NPP.

Musah Issah has however denied the offense indicating he was not in Bolga on the said date but the police insist their source indicated he was in town.

He has been remanded to police custody for further investigations after presiding judge justice Warlanyo Kotoku denied a bail application by his lawyers.

Adams Mahama suffered an acid attack on his way home on the 20th of May 2015 by two people and later died of extensive acid burns.
