Afoko's life in danger over 'gang attack'

Forensic test on the substance found to have caused burns on the clothes of Gregory Afoko has been proven to be acid

 

Police prosecution in the case where brother of the national chairman of the New Patriotic Party Gregory Afoko is facing trial for murder have told a magistrate court in Accra that the life of the accused is in danger.

According to the prosecution who pleaded to the judge hearing the case to adjourn it, they were privy to information that a group of people were heading towards the magistrate court to attack Gregory Afoko making it unsafe for him to remain there.

The judge Worlonyo Kotoku heeded to the plea and adjourned the case to the 22nd of September 2015.
