Social media reacts to 'Asempa budget' by Ken Ofori-Atta

The hashtags #Budget2017 and #AbosseyOkai have jumped to the top of the trends on social media platforms including Facebook and Twitter.

The budget was read by the Minister of Finance and Economic Planning, Ken Ofori-Atta in Parliament House today March 2.

Among the highlights of the budget were the abolishment of some taxes (including import duties on spare parts) and a plan to modernise agriculture in Ghana.
