NPP doesn't have factions - Freddie Blay

Mr. Freddie Blay has debunked any purported factionalism in the New Patriotic Party.

The first national Vice Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Freddie Blay has noted that the NPP is just one party adding that factions doesn't exist in the party.

Speaking on Citi FM, he said people talking about differences in the NPP are doing so out of mischief.

The party’s General Secretary Kwabena Agyepong has told the media he was unaware of the emergency steering committee meeting held at the NPP headquarters on Monday, whiles its National Chairman PaulAfoko according to Freddie Blay was  out of Ghana and expected to return this week.

According to him, the insinuations that the powers of the General Secretary and the Chairman are being usurped are false.

He said Mr. Kwabena Agyapong was at a funeral therefore cannot come.

Meanwhile, the Steering Committee has assigned national officers to oversee the vetting process ahead of the parliamentary primaries.
