Afro-pop Star Rocked Pulse Ghana Launch

The 2012 YEM Awards’ “Female Artiste of the Year” and 2013 ELOY Awards’ “Most Promising Female” winner put the Soho Bar & Restaurant auditorium on a standstill as she performed four hit singles on the night of Pulse Ghana & VIP Nights launch. The show was getting hotter when it was announced that the African Queen of Afro-pop music has arrived. Imagine how the anxious fans would feel as she popped up in the building.

Hundreds of music fans and stars gathered in the auditorium were grooved with quality sounds for the ears. Yemi Alade doubled the heat in the auditorium when she grabbed the Mic to perform her first song titled “Ghen Ghen Love” in awe of hundreds of celebrities and fans gathered. “Ghen Ghen Love” was followed by another hit single “K-I-S-S-I-N-G” which moved almost everyone gathered to the dance floor. The 2014 MOBO Awards’ “Best African Act” nominee dropped “Tangerine” which features one of Africa’s most respected sound engineer Selebobo. This time, fans created a round dance floor for Yemi. To their surprise, she didn’t hesitate to step on the dance floor to boogie. The fans took over “Tangerine” song as they sung loud along.

Then comes the final round of her showpiece. We call it “The Johnny Revelation Round!” To her surprise, a die-hard male fan from the crowd joined her on the dance floor to wind his waist to her international acclaimed masterpiece “Johnny”. While Yemi twerks, the man winds down to exercise his waist power. Look, words can’t explain the excitements that moment brought to the patrons gathered in their numbers.

Over-all, Yemi Alade’s showpiece was outstanding. An electrifying performance indeed. This, we believe will live in the memories of every witness. Everyone who witnessed the event attested to the fact that it was beyond success and Yemi rocked it. We say “Ayekoo” to Yemi and her team.
