The Guardian Newspaper names Ghana's groups, RedRed and R2bees in its April to 5 African pop playlist.
Ghana music industry has received the second good news in 2015 from UK's premiere newspaper, The Guardian. Earlier this year, Kwame Ametepee Tsikata aka M.anifest, was named in The Guardian Newspaper’s top five stars in “The Sound Of Africa In 2015” list alongside young songstress, Esi to dominate the continent.
This gave the industry another reason to boast of its reactive talents.
The Guardian Newspaper has once again enlist two of Ghana's finest groups in its April 'top 5 African pop songs playlist.' They include newest group, RedRed which is made up of M3nsa of FOKN Bois fame and ELO and Tema based Hip-life/Highlife group R2bees.
RedRed's first single off their new project titled "Ghetto" which features Sarkodie is the new street anthem. The visuals to the song is another topic being discussed amongst music lovers daily since ts release.
Multiple award winning duo, R2bees, placed 5th on the list with their latest Highlife single "Makoma."
Among the list include Nigerian Igbo rapper, Phyno, Cape Town based Nonku Phiri, and Paris based band SSCK (Shell Shock).
Pulse.com.gh congratulates all of them.
