Multimedia Group asks Dancehall act to refund GHC19,400

Shatta Wale, may soon be hit with a lawsuit by lawyers of The Multimedia Group of Companies should a demand made by the company to the artiste and his management to refund monies ‘owed’ them fail.

According to the notice of demand for refund exclusively available to us at nydjlive.com, BELIEB & BELIEB LC, lawyers of The Multimedia Group of Companies and Kumasi based Luv FM for that matter disclose the said artist was by contract billed to perform at the OLD SKUUL’s REUNION 2015 on the 21st of November 2015.

However the artist left the stage few minutes after he mounted it due to a technical challenge which was later resolved. The letter continues to state that several calls and pleas to the artist to perform fell on deaf ears.

In the nutshell, Shatta Wale is per the letter required to make a full refund of GHC19,400 cedis. The estimated sum covers air tickets for four (4), Contract sum of GHC 15,000 and cost of hotel rooms for 4.

Last year, reports emerged that Shatta Wale left stage after he suffered a technical hitch during his performance at the Old Skuul’z reunion held in Kumasi.

Shatta Wale’s new management is yet to comment on the letter.
