Tamale’s hottest Afro-pop and rap star, Maccasio, has described rapper Sarkodie as the ‘god of African rap’.

The “Kaman How” hitmaker made this statement in his latest interview on Pulse TV.

Maccasio added, “Sarkodie is African rap god. He has the skill and his flow is always on point.”

Maccasio has been in Accra for the past one week ahead of his highly anticipated concert dubbed ‘Nothern Explosion’. The concert is slated for Saturday, February 25 at the Accra sports stadium.

Maccasio lined up top acts including Iwan, Guru, Fareed, Kofi Kinaata, Rudeboy Ranking, Bastero, Dr Cryme, Sherrifa Gunu, Amerado, AJ Nelson, Gaffachi, Morgan, Flawa, S K Y, Arisky, Dahin Sheli and Naa Body for the historic event.
