We are halfway through 2017 and we already have a plethora of hit songs already dominating series of music charts in the country.

Ghana’s only issue with our music content has to do with distribution and it seems we are gradually breaking the deadlock with international collaborations and distribution deals.

The year started on a good note with Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy continuing their successful releases and leading the Afro-Dancehall pack, Sarkodie hooking up with Nigeria’s Runtown for an international hit, Magnom tasting his first mainstream success, Ebony leading the female pack, Samini reviving his career and King Promise hitting the limelight with a massive hit.
