Marvin Gaye's family thinks 'Happy' was copied too

The family of Marvin Gaye are of the opinion that 'Happy' sounds like another Marvin Gaye record.

While basking in their recent court victory, where a court ordered that , the family of the late soul singer have revealed that Pharrell's smash hit 'Happy' sounds like another Marvin Gaye song called 'Ain't That Peculiar'.

Marvin Gaye's daughter Nona Gaye expressed her thoughts on the matter. "I'm not going to lie. I do think they sound alike" she said.

The family isn't considering legal action just yet though. "We're just in the moment today and we're satisfied" said Janis Gaye, Marvin Gaye's ex-wife said.

'Happy' released in 2014 was a smash hit which sold ten million units. It also won the Grammy for the Best Music Video.
