When asked if she gets local secular musicians for collaborations especially some influential acts like Shatta Wale or Sarkodie, the “Menwu” singer said it’s not part of her plans but she will do when God approves.

“You want to get me in trouble,” she giggled. “I haven’t thought of it. If you are a Christian or a believer, you move your steps according to God’s directions. So if God asks me to collaborate with either Shatta Wale or Sarkodie, why not?” she stated.

She further cleared some perceptions about secular musicians being tagged as unbelievers but still insisted that she has no collaboration plans for any secular act even if she is rather approached.

“Being a secular musician doesn’t make you an idol worshipper. Most of them attend Church but I have no collaboration plans for them even when they approach me,” she concluded.

Patience Nyarko launched her 9-track VCD album titled “Wafom Kwan” (You have lost the path) on Saturday, March 19 on the streets of Accra.
