She has not been active on the music scene for some years now but gospel diva, Obaapa Christy, is sure of making it big with her latest album, Hyebre Sesafuo.
Songs on her new album which is her ninth, were recorded by sound engineers, Nacy, Dan Bassey and Shar.
The nine-track-album which was released last week has two praise songs, two worship songs, two highife songs and a ragga song. Some of the songs are Aseda, Down Fall of a Man, Praise To the Lord and Hyebre Sesafuo.
Always known for giving her followers the best of her, Obaapa Christy sang well on "Hyebre Sesafo." With her strong voice, she sings about why she will always praise God. In the song, she says it is only God who can change the destiny of mankind. According to her, no matter how bad a situation is, God is able to bring about change.
"Hyebre Sesafo", a worship song was recorded by Nacy. The song was recorded live with good instrumentation and its instrumentation was on point.
Obaapa Christy who is currently promoting "Hyebre Sesafo" on radio and TV told Showbiz last week Monday that it is her favourite on the album.
“I like this particularly one very much because it is meant to give hope to the hopeless”.
Commenting on her absence from the music scene, the Okramanfunu Ba singer said she was engaged in other activities but she is back to give off her best.
“I want Ghanaians to know that I am back and there is no going back,” she said.
