Rapper M.anifest has responded to claims that he stole the beat of Garifuna: Umalali Merua for “Someway Bi” single off his Apae album.

In his reply to the allegations on facebook on Sunday, December 21, he said;
“All you have to do nowadays is allege something on the internet and it can become true very quickly. Nobody checks on veracity anymore.
I stole a beat huh? If anyone bothered to check album liner notes you would know sample was cleared. PERMISSION.

We have to think for ourselves and know for ourselves. Without that conmen and connivers will keep flourishing at the expense of all of us.
