Why wait until our heroes die before honouring them? Dadie Opanka with this greatest desire to honour his icon while still alive, is set to release a track in his name “Azumah Nelson” 9th October, 2015.

Undoubtedly Azumah Nelson is the most celebrated Ghanaian boxer and the first African inducted in the International Boxing Hall of Fame. Many of us grew up watching some of his fights and were happy anytime he won his fights. His exploits has brought a lot of glory to Ghana and even placed the country’s name on the world map of sports. As the saying goes, a nation that does not honour its heroes it’s not worth dying for and it’s with this great desire to honour such a hero that Dadie Opanka is releasing a song 9th October to celebrate such a legend -- as he sees him as his icon whiles he is alive.

The song “Azumah Nelson” is a Hip-hop tune produced by Tubhani Beatz, which highlights the achievements of the national hero and to empower the listener to strive harder to achieve more as the man Azumah Nelson did during his sporting career.

Dadie Opanka also takes advantage of the song to let his fans know that he is the Azumah Nelson of Ghana Music with dope punch lines that could knock his opponent’s down. The song is intertwined with some selected speeches of Azumah Nelson.
