From movie stars to music stars, events and more,  Google has compiled the most searched people and topics of the year.

This year has been successful for most mainstream and some emerging Ghanaian musicians as their news, songs and videos releases have been heavily searched on the world's most popular search engine, Google.

Dancehall musician, Shatta Wale, who has been consistent since January 1, topped Google's most searched Ghanaian musicians list followed by rap artiste, Sarkodie. Shatta Wale broke his own record this year by releasing 107 songs. He dropped a few hits as well.

E.L, Kofi Kinaata, Edem, M.anifest, Efya, Becca and Okyeame Kwame also grabbed a spot.

However, there was something intriguing about this year's list. Kumawood actor, Agya Koo, placed 10 on the list even though he is not a full-time musician. Maybe it could be an error or wrong entries by Google users.
