Music Producer Calls For The Arrest Of Carlos Sakyi

The CEO of Speech Production, Mr Enock Agyepong who is also a member of the outgoing Court appointed Receivers and Managers is calling for the arrest of the ex-Board Chairman of GHAMRO, Mr Carlos Sakyi.

He said after going through the Audit Report, there are a lot of monies that have been allegedly embezzled by the previous Board led by Carlos. According to him, Carlos is the only person who can answer to them.

He said after the report came out, Mark Okraku and Rex Omar who were part of the previous Board answered to the queries raised but attempts to get Carlos Sakyi, Amandzeba and K. K. Kabobo to willingly answer to the queries raised had failed.

“I’m aware state authorities including the Ghana Police and EOCO also invited Carlos for questioning but all along he shielded himself with the Supreme Court case,” Enock Agyepong said.

The CID Headquarters and Economic and Organized Crime have been furnished with enough information regarding the GHAMRO Audit Report and accompanying malpractices and supposed looting.

“We believe now that the Supreme Court case which was a stumbling block has been thrown out, the authorities should fast track their investigations for us to know the outcome. I believe the outcome of their investigations will finally put to rest all the speculations that have been going on in the minds of Ghanaians.”

He continued, “I am happy for the new board that has been elected and i have a lot of confidence in them but for some of us getting a new board elected is not enough we should make sure all right owners monies that have been squandered are refunded back to the company so as to serve as a yard stick for the incoming board”.

We replaced Sidiku Buari with Carlos Sakyi and expected him to do the right thing but he didn’t. We don’t want a repetition of that since human beings can change therefore the whip must be cracked so as to deter others.

He finally asked all right owners to get closer to the GHAMRO Collective Management Organisation since there are a lot of benefits they can get.
