Pop artiste speaks on the importance of dropping albums

The 'Surulere' singer believes that singles is still a means to an end which is an album or body of work.

While some artistes in this day and age think it is no longer relevant to drop albums again.

One artiste who is against this idea is the Mavin Records star act Dr. Sid. The 'Surulere' singer believes that singles is still a means to an end which is an album or body of work.

"I think so...we can drop singles all day long but to what end? Worldwide people are dropping singles, but everyone is still going to put out an album. The singles lead up to an album. There must be an end product to all the singles that you put out. At the end of the day its your CV" he said during interview with Pulse TV.

Dr. Sid successfully released his sophomore album 'Siduction' in late 2013.
