Afro-pop star features Guru on “MIES”, drops Feb. 1

The splendiferous and creative singer, who has, for some time now proven beyond all doubts that he has what it takes to be in the mainstream business took his time to prepare this blistering Highlife to usher in the new year.

Explaining why he titled the song “MIES”, Daybreak divulged that “I just want talk about life a bit. You know, after the hard day’s work, man really has to enjoy. Because it’s not that easy; being at the work and on the street hustling the paper (cash).”

On what influenced his decision to go for Guru as a featured artiste, Daybreakdisclosed “The song was written in Akan so we needed a dope rapper who raps in our own language to kill it. And trust me, Guru is known for his fluent Akan rap so that’s why we chose him.”

He urged his fans to expect “Good vibes from the collaboration. We also have a track with Flowking Stone which will also be out soon so the fans should anticipate.”
