"I feel honoured by the Black Stars' support for my song" - Kofi Kinaata
Ghana Black Stars' unique celebration dance has become one of the endearing images of the AFCON 2017 in Gabon and they have Ghanaian music star Kofi Kinata to thank for it.

In an interview with Pulse.com.gh, Ghana winger Christian Atsu revealed that the singer’s hit song “Confession” was the inspiration behind their dance.
“You know that song by Kofi Kinata asking God to take the steering wheel is what we are dancing to. We are also celebrating God taking the steering wheel for us”.

Reacting to this, Kofi Kinaata told Pulse.com.gh that he feels honoured by the Black Stars' support for his song.
"I feel honoured by the Black Stars' support for my song. Good to see them draw motivation from it and be using it as their victory song after goals and wins," Kinaata told Pulse.com.gh
He added: "I pray The Lord sees them through the tournament so they can win and bring the cup home. Me together with the whole of Ghana, we've thrown all support behind them and wishing them all the best. The cup is all we need. More vim. Move!!!"
