Award winning Ghanaian gospel singer, Bro. Philemon has released two brainwave singles off his upcoming album.

The first single titled “All The Glory” according to him was conceived few days to Easter, to praise and worship God for his marvelous deeds on the cross of Calvary and the fact that he died for his sins and the sins of the world.

The title of the second single is “Me Da W’ase” which literally means ‘I will give you thanks’. The record was envisioned and written few days after a near fatal accident on 17th March, 2002, a Sunday that happens to be just a day after his eldest brother Emmanuel O. Ackon’s wedding.

Indeed it was a dark day in the world for him and three of his brothers: Theophilus T. Ackon, Emmanuel E. Ackon and Richard Frank Ackon and that of his family.

'God’s time is the best' is the phrase he used to describe the long wait to record and release the song, and this was after his mum was involved in a near tragic accident few days before his charity concert on 18th February 2015 held in Takoradi.

The singles seeks to encourage, motivate and inspire his fans and lovers of gospel music to give thanks to God no matter what life throws back at them and also praise God through dancing and celebrate in the light of the fact that Christ Jesus died on the cross for our sins to save Mankind.

The songs where produced by Kwame Keys with support from some other great producers.

Bro Philemon’s epic moments and ability to spread the good news through music in Ghana was greatly manifested when he ministered to thousands of fans at the recently held Thanksgiving show which took place at the Jubilee Park in Takoradi, which Patrick Duncan from South Africa graced the show as well as No Tribe, Selina Boateng, Uncle Ato, KODA, Akesse Brempong and many more.

The title of his upcoming album is “Totally Set Free” which entails inspirational, spirit lifting and authentic gospel tunes featuring some renowned local and international acts including the likes of Akesse Brempong II Ghana, Alexandra Aboagye Ghana, Jeremy Hall USA, Yayo Ghana, Wole Awolola UK, Joe Monto USA, Amy Newman Ghana, and more.

KODA, Kwame Keys and Morris Baby Face are some distinguished producers of the album.
