Young musicians doing cheap music

According to the veteran, most young people have refused to learn and that has affected that standard of music.

Bessa who spoke to Hitz FM advised that musicians learn and invest in their craft.

“Music is very expensive. It is not cheap but now more people want to rap. They want the cheap way, they don’t want to learn. But I think they should learn. Once you make a hit, you are in trouble because that is where you have to go back and learn the basis,” the prolific songwriter, keyboardist and singer said.

Bessa Simons is known for hit songs like Belembe, Kormantse Na Abandze, AKwaaba, Bessa Si Besa, Woye Sronko among others.

It would be recalled that Bissa Simons commended Bisa Kdei for his "Mansa" track and indicated that the artiste will excel should he continue doing highlife.

“That composition sounds like Nana Kwame Ampadu and I want to urge all the upcoming musicians that, they must research about the different kinds of music we had before... If Bisa Kdei should continue doing good highlife music, then he will remain relevant in this industry for a long time”
