He made the comment on Radio Univers’ Alumni Hour on Thursday.
“Today, the names of the entertainers keep changing; they change by the week. When you listen to Univers or any station, you find new names coming up and it is difficult to keep up. Sometimes you remember them largely for how funny the names are because the name reminds you for something. I do like lots of music that I hear today… I do like Kwabena Kwabena,” he said.

Prof Aryeetey stated the genres of music he enjoys listening to.
“There are a number of them I like also. I do like hip hop. I like hiplife. There are some songs I could dance to when I’m in the good mood… There are many other forms of Ghanaian music that I enjoy,” he noted.
Prof Aryeetey turned 60 last Tuesday and was celebrated on the Alumni Hour show.
