2016 AAMMA Australia-based Ghanaian star Mike Akox wins "Best Male Vocalist Of The Year" award

Mike Akox has been adjudged as the "Best Male Vocalist Of The Year" at the 2016 Afro Australian Music & Movie Awards (AAMMA) for the third time in a row.

One of Ghana's biggest foreign artistes, Mike Akox has been adjudged as the "Best Male Vocalist Of The Year"  at the 2016 Afro Australian Music & Movie Awards (AAMMA).

He was nominated for tow categories; "Best Afrobeatz Act" and "Best Male Vocalist Of The Year" where he grabbed one accolade for his unique vocal performance. Mike won the "Best Male Vocalist Of The Year" for a third year in a row.

The ceremony which was held in Sydney, Australia on October 8, 2016, saw special international guest appearances from Frank Artus, Mark Angel, Biyi Bandele, Chaz Ogbu and Show Stopper in attendance.

To celebrate his big win, Akox has released a brand new single titled "Gyae Roff" featuring Australia’s biggest MC Kaynana; and has been buzzing on the amazing reaction from the public.

He also told Pulse.com.gh that he is preparing to drop another banger titled "Pilowlow" featuring one of UK's biggest Afrobeats artistes, Eugy soon.
