Cardinal Mcabeez - Abasi

"Abasi" is a single from the "Rebirth" album  and was written by Ghanaian Dancehall artiste, Dennis Darko within 45 minutes when he was on an aeroplane from the Akwa Ibom State of Nigeria to Lagos. Before the plane landed, the wonderful tune "Abasi" was been composed.

"Abasi" simply means the supreme God in Ibibio/Efik language spoken by the Akwa Ibom and Calabar people in Nigeria.

The tune reveals that despite the pain we go through in life, there is hope and when one is dependent on God, there is absolutely no need to fear. The journey in life is filled with challenges but things can turn around.
