'Run up' [Remix] Ft. Skales, YungL, Chopstix

Watch the Nigerian star musicians take on Major Lazer's party anthem 'Run up'.

The song features the vocals of Skales and Yung L with production credit going to producer Chopstix.

The video is directed by Nigerian music video director Stanz Visuals and strongly depicts Africa’s rich cultural diversity as various national flags are shown throughout the video.

Major Lazer released the video on their YouTube page and in less than 24 hours has amassed over  300,000 views with about 700 comments – majority of them lauding Skales and Yung L for infusing contemporary African vibe to the song.

Skales had hinted the song back in April, 2017 when the group’s founder Diplo visited Nigeria for Gidi Culture Festival.

The singer took to his Instagram page and posted a short video of him with Diplo along with a caption that reads “@Diplo Link up. #TamHenny #TheNeverSayNeverGuy.

Major Lazer is regarded as one of the most prolific music groups in the world - working with several musical giants across the world - and putting out several word-class hits, including 'Cold Water' featuring Justin Bieber, 'All My Love' featuring Ariana Grande, 'Lean On' featuring MO, with the latter amassing over 2 billion views on YouTube.

Reports have it that Skales has featured international acts on his upcoming album ‘The Never Say Never Guy’ – leaving fans to speculate Major Lazer will be a guest feature on the album which is scheduled for release sometime in May, 2017.
