Dâbanj presents the official music video for âKnocking on my doorâ which serves as the first of the seven videos heâs expected to drop from his forthcoming Visual EP.
The EP â âI am Dâbanjâ â is part of the superstarâs 10th Anniversary year-long celebrations. Expect its release sometime next month.
The veteran singer clinched the award ahead of other African legends such as 2face, Asa, Black Cofee, Chameloen, Fally Ipupa, HHP. Samini and Psquare.

The MAMA âEvolutionâ award honours established artistes who have made an indelible mark on African and global music culture, taken African music to new territories around the world, pushed the boundaries of creativity, and shaped the soundscape of contemporary Africa.
Dâbanj dedicated his award to his erstwhile business partner and producer, Don Jazzy, with whom he began his journey as an entertainer, under the defunct MoâHits Records.
âI wanna invite thank my father, even though we are notâŚ.God bless you Don Jazzy. This award is dedicated to Dâbanj and Don Jazzy.â D'banj said in an emotion-laded acknowledgement speech.
