Cody Walker, the late brother of Paul Walker, has got his first major movie role.

the 27-year-old has  been cast as a major supporting role in the upcoming Mario Van Peebles-directed flick, 'USS Indianapolis: Men of Courage.'

According to Deadline, Cody will play a Navy soldier who struggles with surviving both on the ship and off.

The movie also stars Nicolas Cage as Charles B. McVay III; an American Naval officer and the commanding officer of the USS Indianapolis (CA-35) when it was lost in action in 1945, resulting in massive loss of life.

After the death of Paul Walker, Cody and Caleb Walker helped with scenes that were unfinished.

'USS Indianapolis: Men of Courage' is set for release May 30, on the 2016's Memorial Day.
