Man bags 21 months jail term, 1,000 lashes, for organizing gay parties

A Saudi Arabian man has fallen foul of the laws of the land after he was found guilty of organizing gay parties and will spend 21 months in jail and 1,000 lashes of the cane to go with it.

A Saudi Arabian man who organizes gay parties for young men in the country where alcohol, drugs and hashish flowed steadily, has paid a huge price for his misbehaviour after he was sentenced to 21-months in jail, in addition to 1,000 lashes of the cane.

Emirate247 reports that when the man was caught, he was dressed like woman, fully made up while hashish in his make-up bag.

The Royal Saudi Arabia’s religious police arrested the man in the Western Red Sea port of Jeddah after discovering he was organising parties for young men through his Facebook account in return for Dh1,000, (about $272), per person.

"They caught him dressed like a woman and found make-up and a small piece of hashish in his bag."

The friend who helped him with such parties was also sentenced to one year in prison and ordered lashed 500 times.
