  • Bay leaf

The bay leaf is one such herb for whitening your teeth, but it needs to be mixed with a citrus fruit. Take one leaf and crush it into very small pieces.

Crush a citrus fruit peel (can be an orange or a lemon) into a fine powder. Mix the powder and the leaf together to create a mixture that you can use to brush your teeth. This concoction must be applied up to three times a week.

  • Guava leaf

The guava leaf is also another herb for getting rid of yellow stains and it is also good for preventing bad breath. Simply take a leaf and crush it with a mortar and pestle to make a paste.

Rub the crushed leaves on your teeth and brush it with your toothbrush.

  • Turmeric powder

Turmeric is a great herb for oral whitening. Wash your brush and dip it in 1/8th turmeric powder. Brush your teeth and allow the turmeric to sit in for 3-5 minutes and then rinse it off. Follow it up with your regular toothpaste.
