Stretch marks are small, depressed streaks on the skin which differ in color from the surrounding skin. They are often caused by changes in the elastic supportive tissue that lies just beneath the skin.
Anybody can develop stretch marks but women are more prone to it during pregnancy and puberty.
Some women get them on their buttocks, thighs, hips, and breasts.
Stretch marks fade with time, although they never totally disappear. Olive oil is an effective option for treating stretch marks. Packed with healthy fats and antioxidants, olive oil is an excellent nourishing and moisturizing agent for the skin.
