Barack knows this, and Barack knows that, but Barack can't rap.

The American President announced his shortcoming to a group of teens visiting the White House on Thursday, July 23.

"My rapping skills are terrible," Obama said after showing up as a surprise guest at a mini-concert by rapper Wale in the East Room.

Obama has belted out blues and gospel at events, and he's famous for his verbal gifts. But he acknowledged he’s not good at everything.

"That's one thing I can't do is rap," he said. "I like rap but I cannot rap."
